About the Event

Sing in hope for the climate at this outdoor singing workshop for women of all ages. Expect songs of strength, joy and beauty in gorgeous, surprising and inspiring acapella harmony from the Natural Voice Network library of contemporary songs for women's voices and an eclectic choice of music both soothing and uplifting.

In this workshop we'll also be singing some small acapella snippets from Enough is Enough, written by Karine Polwart and Oi Musica for COP26 in Glasgow. Watch the full piece here:

No music reading skills or special singing ability is needed. Clear relaxed teaching.

Join something positive. Singing makes you feel good. We all carry music inside us...free your voice!

I have initiated a Risk Assessment in line with advice from community music making organisations and with the Community Centre. Even with all mitigations in place, please be aware it is impossible to make the session absolutely risk free. Safety protocols will be in place so we can enjoy the afternoon safely together. Many of us are wary about returning indoors too soon, even with vaccinations, but we are doing what we can to bring group singing back to our communities.

Please pay by donation preferably before you come, during or after!

Choose Paypal or select pay by card. Thanks. ( £8.00 minimum suggested) here:
