Meadow Sing and Walk #2

Join Emily and her sister Laura for this gentle walk-and-sing event. Expect simple short songs in harmony with the river, the sky and the meadows. We'll teach all parts by ear using simple lyrics and building up parts depending on different abilities so there's something for everyone, whatever your experience. All welcome.

We'll have a picnic break during the afternoon so please bring any refreshments you might like. Perhaps a flask of tea and cake?

Logistics:

We'll set off at 2.30pm sharp ( please arrive 2.15pm -in good time) from Bridge Stores on the corner of Donnington Bridge and Meadow Lane.

If you are driving you may find parking in the Falcon Rowing Club car park at 331 Meadow Ln, Oxford OX4 4BJ

Route:

 N.B. We've just simplified the walk to be cooler and more accessible than the original plan. We will lead all songs in the beautiful setting of Oriel Meadow.

We will run in ALL weathers so do come prepared with suitable clothing, insect repellant, umbrella, water bottles etc.

 Emily runs many Natural Voice community choirs and singing groups in and around Oxford including Feisty Choir, Green Templeton Community Choir, Singing Women and Grace Notes. Laura leads Riversong and Plymouth Community Choir in Devon . They are delighted to be able to offer this event and lead you together for the first time.
