About the Event
Stand Out is a short song originally commissioned by the Sea Green Singers to celebrate International Women's Day during lock down but the singing didn't stop. It was sung by over a hundred people from street choirs up and down the UK on Zoom. This time we can learn the song together, stand out and make some noise live!
Clear teaching for any voices whether you sing already or only in the shower. Experienced singers will stand shoulder to ( socially distanced) shoulder in a well ventilated hall. No need to read music.
Lead by Emily Marshall the evening will be interspersed with performances by Feisty Choir, Oxford's new women's choir who will entertain you with their debut performances of vibrant and compelling acapella.
Please do a Lateral Flow test if you can before coming and don't come if unwell.
Tickets have staggered prices and money raised is in aid of Oxford Young Women's Music Project.
