A series of workshops of acapella harmony singing open for women who need their singing fix without having to join a regular choir or commit to any performances. In this way these workshops cater for busy lives, being time for you at the start of the week rather than trying to "fit choir in" with everything else in your week.

What to expect

Expect gorgeous, feisty acapella harmony from far and wide. We'll sing pieces by or arranged by living women composers and delve in to a rich seam of work across all genres ( folk, blues, pop, world) which relates to women's experience and also dip in to excerpts and songs from Feisty Choir's repertoire.

Most of the teaching will be by ear so you do not need to be a music-reader. Teaching will be relatively fast-paced and active. With energetic yet careful teaching you'll have surprising and rewarding results in one session or build on a longer song over several weeks.

Who is this for?

This choir is not for beginners or for anyone who is uncertain (there are all sorts of choirs around who cater for you!) There are no solos or auditions but you do need to be able to hold a tune, in tune and move in time. However many women underestimate their ability.

This is the second series Emily is offering after successfully trialling five Singing Sisters this spring. Help make this successsful then there'll be more to come!

Book individual sessions, one date at a time or for more musical connection and community and build skills choose to book the series.

'I loved the evening, the music you had chosen and singing together in parts. What makes it particularly special is your energy, movement and enthusiasm, it is infectious!'                                      Rachel
